Before I started the course I was full of passion to teach mindfulness but lacked confidence and credibility. Now I have the confidence and credentials to go with my passion. I feel justified to teach the tools and techniques I know to be life-changing and I have a clear approach to do that.
I have a better understanding of the intention behind each practice in the MBCT course and the potential sensitivities or difficulties around these. And I feel equipped to enable my clients to explore and get the most out of each practice.
The thing I appreciated most about the course was the personal contact with teachers, every aspect of this was incredibly valuable… The demonstrations, the opportunity for Q&As, the supervision, the feedback on activities. I feel like I’ve been steered in the right direction by teachers I trust and respect after having navigated by myself for so long.
I’m also really enjoying the marketing workshops! It’s really great to focus in a bit more detail and with the structure on how to grow my business. In the last workshop, it felt like we were really starting to turn the learning-to-teach into a reality of starting our classes.

A Little Mindful
My training with you in 2013 has stayed with me all this time and probably saved my life as I became equipped with the most necessary life tools.
The training was indeed intense but I recall so many fine details. I remember how you would eat your lunch as if it were the first time you had ever eaten. I was so inspired by how you taught and noticed us. I was so happy lying down as I felt I could have a sleep, but oh no, you weren't having that as we all know Mindfulness is all about noticing, observing, wakefulness, falling awake and I was so desperate to sleep. How pleased I never did, I may have missed the beautiful poem, The Guest House by Rumi.
Your kind nurturing personality gave me the confidence to continue my Mindfulness journey these past 8 years and I have taught lots of people many aspects of mindfulness based on the famous 8 week course together with my own personal touch of humanity.

I've been working with Dr Collard on developing my skill set on teaching meditation since 2017. I find her insights invaluable in making the course applicable to the corporate environment where I teach.
Mindfulness based approaches as taught by Patrizia are very much applicable in reducing day to day stress, hence resulting with much better quality of day to day interactions in often stressful work settings.
By reducing stress levels, helping in developing genuine compassion and empathy amongst the people who represent your organisation - your business will reach new levels of success in the most unexpected ways!

MBCT For Work Trainer
Patrizia’s method of teaching the MBCT is refreshing and fun as she creates and embeds the Mindfulness theory into accessible and practical language. Dr Collard is a talented Clinician and Teacher who integrates creative and therapeutic interventions within this teaching. We are grateful for the support and encouragement that she has assisted us with professional development, and without her enthusiasm and ongoing support we would not have achieved a BAFTA award for innovative practice within the NHS Mental Health Service (Black Country Foundation Trust).
We have no hesitation in recommending Dr Collard as a Teacher, facilitator and supervisor of Mindfulness (MBCT) , and hope that you enjoy the training as much as we have.
