We have benefited greatly from the wise teaching of Dr Collard, she has guided us through the MBCT Teacher training and continues to offer us supervision of our work within the NHS.
Her approach to teaching is friendly and engaging, this enables us to explore and examine our questions in a safe and comfortable relationship. Dr Collard has a great sense of humour and draws upon her observations of life in a meaningful and humanistic manner, often using metaphors to communicate the message.
Her method of teaching the MBCT is refreshing and fun as she creates and embeds the Mindfulness theory into accessible and practical language. Dr Collard is a talented Clinician and Teacher who integrates creative and therapeutic interventions within this teaching. We are grateful for the support and encouragement that she has assisted us with professional development, and without her enthusiasm and ongoing support we would not have achieved a BAFTA award for innovative practice within the NHS Mental Health Service (Black Country Foundation Trust).
We were able to offer our own 8 session programme to staff which started out as a face to face delivery, and then due to the pandemic we moved to online group work. In addition to this we joined up with two colleagues to offer a monthly drop in online mindfulness session. Delivering our work in this way was daunting as it was new to us, but with Dr Collard’s support and enthusiasm we were able to gain proficiency in working in this way. The impact of this investment of skills within us can be evidenced in our clinical work with our individual patient feedback, and positive feedback from staff groups.
We have future plans to continue to develop the service for staff and patients well-being.
We have no hesitation in recommending Dr Collard as a Teacher, facilitator and supervisor of Mindfulness (MBCT) , and hope that you enjoy the training as much as we have.

Patrizia's teaching style has always been something I’ve valued so highly because she had the research and academic acumen but also the warmth, compassion and humanity to connect to her mindfulness and therapy teachings.
It can’t be underestimated how important it is to have a teacher that makes the neuroscience and mindfulness concepts not only accessible but deeply understood by me - so I can have an elegant understanding of mindfulness and therapy.
Our time together has brought depth so I can be creative and use my own knowledge to confidently transform the lives of others. Thanks Patty!

I came to Patrizia to do the 8-week MBCT course in 2018 and found her personalised approach to delivering the course hugely beneficial.
I started taking better care of myself and learnt a different way of relating to my thoughts that has had a huge positive impact on my mental health. I was so delighted with the result that I was inspired to continue working with Patrizia to become a MBCT teacher myself, completing my Teacher Development 1 under her supervision in 2019 and then going on to complete Teacher Development 2 with her in 2021.
On top of the teacher development courses, I've had around 25-hours worth of supervision with Patrizia in the time we've known each other, and she has been instrumental in my continued development as a MBCT teacher.

Patrizia has and continues to guide me through my learning in a manner that embodies mindfulness. The journey, as with life, is not easy yet Patrizia is alongside you each step, supportive, gentle and nourishing; lighthearted and wise.
She sails her ship with purpose and creativity, and her crew, Helen and Monty each enriching the journey with their unique and excellent qualities. My journey is flowing and slowly I take the helm knowing I need only reach out to them for a map or a light and it will be there.
