This meditation teacher training course is ideal if you want to deepen your practice and work with the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Programme. One of the most scientifically supported mindfulness approaches, it has been shown to help with stress and burnout, resilience and low moods.
Have you learnt to meditate using apps or recordings?
The first step to teaching is experiencing a live class yourself. During this foundation MBCT teacher training course, you’ll experience all the teachings and meditations of the programme so that you are better equipped to share them with your own clients in the future.
Would you like to explore advanced approaches with highly experienced teachers?
We are one of the first organisations to offer MBCT teacher training in the world and has been training teachers for more than 15 years. You’ll work with highly experienced teachers who have written bestselling books and created award-winning apps, learning from their expertise to grow your confidence.
This two-day Foundations of Teaching Mindfulness course is a low-cost way to begin your MBCT teacher training journey. You’ll be taught following the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA) by experienced teachers.
Experience your first taste of teaching and discover the MBCT programme in-depth. It is a perfect way to deepen your practice and begin your journey to becoming a mindfulness teacher.
Just 12 people will join this course, and we interview each applicant ahead of starting. It ensures we can deliver the personalised teaching experience you need to grow your confidence.

Day 1
Exploring Mindfulness and awareness in depth
Explore a range of meditations from MBCT, including the bodyscan, sitting with the breath, sitting with sounds and mindful movement
Investigate key themes around mindfulness and teaching mindfulness
Experiencing different cognitive activities from MBCT

Investigating the stress response and experiencing teaching
Practise meditations that support working with negative thinking, stress management and resilience building
Work with the more advanced meditations and themes from the MBCT programme
